According to a local police officer, school principal, identified as Muzafar Hussain Jamali, was on his way to the school along with his three children and two nephews when some unknown armed men riding on two motorbikes sprayed his car with bullets in Kharan city.
Ubaidullah, Jamali’s 12-year old nephew, received multiple bullet wounds to his upper torso during the attack and died on the spot, while five others, including the Principal his two daughters, sustained bullet wounds. The attackers managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime.
“Unknown persons opened fire at car from two directions,” a relative said.
The police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area. The deceased and injured were taken to a nearby state-run hospital for treatment.
The injured were identified as Principal Muzafar Jamali, his two daughters Arifa, and Hamida, along with Saifullah and Abdullah. They were referred to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta because of their critical wounds. Principal Jamali later succumbed to his injures at CMH hospital.
According to sources, the assailants had targeted Jamali who heads a private school in Kharan.
According to one of the relatives of the victim, the principal had been receiving threats to his life by armed groups for the past couple of months. “He received several messages via cell phone,” they said on the condition of anonymity. “The potential threats were brought to the knowledge of local administration and they summed up with providing a security guard to the school,” they added.
It is pertinent to mention that, several teachers have fled from Balochistan due to security reasons and threats similar to the ones delivered to Jamali.

This is where the trial of our sellout media begins, i was visiting tribune's story pertaining to this incident but they lack actual facts and heroic narratives behind this incident. I really feel ashamed for that filthy media who is not exposing the reality, instead their efforts are contrary to what we are expecting from them. PTA and government of Pakistan should take swift actions against this rebellious media who is contribution more chaos.

@Adnan: No Adnan I'm not Baloch. I met Jamali sb last year in Islamabad during a course. He was such a soft-spoken, humble, and loving man, with tremendous knowledge and wisdom that he won the entire course over. I dont think I will ever have that close a friend ever in my life. Balochistan has lost a real gem but most dont even realise it.
@Ali Ahsan: Allah bless this land - Balochistan! Brother, are you Baloch? I am a medical graduate and have now come to US for post graduate training. After I am done, my studies, I will, insh'Allah dedicate my life to serving the Baloch people. I am a Punjabi with deep love for the Baloch people.

Instead of trying to appease the "angry Baloch", this government should first try to protect and save the Baloch who actually LOVE this country just as we do!

@Ali Ahsan:

Hasan
Muzaffar Jamali was a very close personal friend of mine. Many of his former students are now studying in some of the top universities across Pakistan.
What the news misses out on is that he was also chairman of an organisation called 'Pakistan Patriotic Forum' and was a staunch opponent of so-called 'separatists' and was very open in his opposition and criticism towards the exploitation of disillusioned youth towards mindless violence by groups like BLA, BRA, BLF etc whose own central leadership enjoys asylum abroad.
He was a patriot of Pakistan, and among those Baloch this country seems to ignore. It would rather appease Hyrbyair, Brahamdagh etc instead.
