SIALKOT: A man was arrested at the Sialkot International Airport on Friday for carrying heroin capsules in his stomach. This is the second such incident in the week. ANF officials said Muhammad Arif of Mandi Bahauddin, flying to Muscat, was found carrying 30 heroin-filled capsules in his stomach. He was taken to the Government Allama Iqbal district headquarters hospital, where doctors removed the capsules. Earlier this week, the ANF had arrested a passenger, Irfan, a resident of a Sargodha, for attempting to smuggle heroin to Saudi Arabia in a similar way. The ANF had recovered 40 capsules from his stomach. An ANF official told The Express Tribune that investigations to identify whether the men worked for a group of individually were underway.
