Education: 58 contract teachers regularized

SIALKOT: The Punjab government on Friday regularised the services of 58 contract teachers in the Daska tehsil. The confirmation letters were handed over to the teachers at a ceremony presided over by MPA Chaudhry Yahya Gul Nawaz on Friday. Also on Friday, Executive District Officer (EDO) Sajjad Aslam suspended six assistant education officers (AEO) from service over negligence from work. He said a departmental probe has been initiated against the suspended AEOs. Those suspended are: Haji Zulfiqar Ahmed, Irshad Ahmed Hunjra, Ejaz Hussain Butt, Safia Ejaz Butt, Iffat Iqbal and Afshan Zareen.
