Urban development: City govt completes 11 projects

DCO said construction of Islamia College Road and Pasrur Road projects was likely to be completed by June.

SIALKOT: “As many as 11 projects under the city development package have been completed,” District Coordination Officer (DCO) Zahid Saleem Gondal said on Thursday. He was presiding over a meeting held to review the pace of development projects in the city. The DCO said that the construction of Islamia College Road and Pasrur Road projects was likely to be completed by June. He said the projects cost Rs400 million. He lauded the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Punjab government for their cooperation. Later, the DCO visited several areas in the city to monitor encroachments and directed the encroachers to remove their installations as soon as possible or face a clean up operation.
