Change of guard: Aftab Khatri named new health secretary

Raza was told about his impending transfer nearly two weeks back.

The Sindh government appointed the former DCO of Hyderabad Aftab Khatri to replace Hashim Raza as the new health secretary.

A notification was issued on Wednesday. Khatri had served as district administrator of Hyderabad, a civil district magistrate of the SITE and airport area in Karachi and as a staff officer at the chief minister’s office. According to sources inside the health department, Raza was told about his impending transfer nearly two weeks back, and was now told to report to the provincial government’s services and general administration department.
