Iran digging mass graves for US soldiers

Former commander says Iran has dug mass graves to bury US soldiers in preparation for an American attack.

IRAN: A former commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard says Iran has dug mass graves to bury US soldiers in preparation for an American attack on the country.

The digging of the graves appears to be a show of bravado after the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, said last week that the US military has a contingency plan to attack Iran, although he thinks a military strike is probably a bad idea, reports the Canadian Press.

In an interview, former Iranian General Hossein Kan'ani Moghadam said the graves have been dug in Iran's southwestern Khuzestan province.

Moghadam said this is the same area where Iran buried Iraqi soldiers killed during the 1980 to 1988 war with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's regime.

Moghadam also said if US forces attack, Iran will have no choice but to strike American bases in other countries in the region.

The war of words between the United States and Iran has intensified since the UN Security Council imposed a fourth round of sanctions against Iran in June for its refusal to stop uranium enrichment.

My question to US and Israel is have you not seen how Pakistani warriors defeated Indians and Israelis have you forgotten 50's and 60's war how our soldiers tied themselves with heavy bombs and blew away the tankers? when even we didn't had enough weapons, have you forgotten the Pakistani Air fighters which shot down 7 to 8 Israeli air crafts and came back with 100% success i.e without any loss of a single pilot? We were the ever first to shot down Israelis ... Well I would just say that you've seen one side of Muslims and if you are eager enough to see the other you are welcome to Iran but before any thing happens i tell you what! this time you are going to lose alot...
Najeeb Pandrani | 13 years ago | Reply What are the factors that are causing frustration for the West? Had they been so powerful, they should have attacked Iran and put an end to this drama. A country's power is not judged solely by her military power. Had that been the case Iran would surely have faced the music. Contrarily, country's power is defined more by its geo-strategic location. The cost of attack on Iran would be enormous for the world. Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East, and global economy would suffer. In short Iran has the power to cause instability in the region, and in international relations this is a power factor. Moreover, experts believe that the efficiency of a military strike is also doubtful, since the nuclear sites are heavily guarded, as some of them are dug deep into the mountains.
