Helping flood victims

KARACHI: This is with reference to your report “Bakhtawar arrives to help flood victims” (August 9). What is her experience in crisis management? Ensuring provision of relief aid to people in the flood-hit areas requires analytical skills, meticulous planning and thorough knowledge of regional topography. When will our ruling class transcend this ridiculous mindset of only looking for a ‘photo op’ in every national crisis?
