Defence budget and flood relief

I suggest that the government freeze our current defence budget to last year’s level.

NJ, US: I suggest that the government freeze our current defence budget to last year’s level. The difference – which should be substantial – should be spent on flood relief. This would go some way towards helping our brothers and sisters in dire need of a roof over their heads and some food to feed themselves and their families. Civilian budgets are so small that they would not make any difference.
