Family dispute: Man killed by his brothers

Investigation officer Irfan Khan said raids were underway to arrest the suspects.

BAHAWALPUR: A man was killed by his brothers over a property dispute in a Cholistan village on Monday.

An FIR registered in the matter said Mohammad Bota, a resident of Chak 101 DNP, had a dispute with his brothers Zafar Iqbal and Iftikhar Ahmed over a family property. On Monday, the suspects shot Boota after an argument over the issue, said Sikandar Hayat, son of the deceased, in the complaint he filed with Derawar police station. Investigation officer Irfan Khan said raids were underway to arrest the suspects.
