Cricket: People Club thrash Friends Club

People Club advanced to the next round after defeating Friends Club by 33 runs.

PESHAWAR: People Club advanced to the next round after defeating Friends Club by 33 runs in the ongoing NBP District Kohat Twenty20 Inter-Club Cricket Tournament at the Kohat Cricket Stadium. Batting first, People Club scored 212 for nine in 20 overs with Abdul Wasey top-scoring with 72. Imran scored 52 with four boundaries and two sixes whereas Muhammad Talha made 37. For Friends Club, Amjad took three wickets. In reply, Friends Club were all out for 179 with Mehran scoring 47 and Fahim making 51 runs. For People Club, Wasey took three wickets, while Talha bagged two.
