SPI: Index down 0.06% during week
SPI for combined groups was down by 0.02%; down from 183.31 points in the previous week

ISLAMABAD:
The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI), for the week ended May 10 has registered a decrease of 0.06% over the previous week for the lowest income group. The SPI for combined groups was down by 0.02%; down from 183.31 points in the previous week to 183.28 points this week. Compared to the corresponding week last year, the SPI for combined groups inflated 8.97%. During the week under review, average prices of indexed items changed as follows: eight items registered a decrease, 22 items increased and the remaining 23 items’ prices remained unchanged.
