The petition said that the CDA is defying the government’s rehabilitation policy.

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) summoned Prime Minister’s Task Force Chairman Faisal Sakhi Butt on Friday (today). He will have to respond to a petition alleging that a Kashmiri migrant is not being compensated for the land he left behind in Indian Kashmir in the 1980s. The court had earlier summoned Butt on Thursday, but the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) lawyer informed the court that Butt did not get the notice on time as it was sent to the authority instead. The petition said that the CDA is defying the government’s rehabilitation policy. Instead of CDA chairman, the petitioner made Butt respondent saying that the authority is “being run by [Butt], and not its chairman”.
