SSP Aslam says suspects came from Balochistan to deliver weapons to PAC, Lyari gangsters.

Sindh Police arrests three BLA members in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Police arrested three alleged terrorists from Shershah, Karachi on Monday.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chaudhry Aslam, the three identified as Ghaffar Bugti, Shams Bugti and Faisal Bugti, were members of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and had arrived from Balochistan to deliver weapons to the Peoples Amn Committee (PAC) and gangsters of Lyari.

The police raided the area after receiving a tip-off about the three hiding there.

The cache of weapons included nine rockets and 550 bullets.

SSP Aslam added that they had delivered weapons and ammunition to the PAC six times in the past.

PAC leaders have however said that the police was making false cases against them, and arresting innocent people.

Police, FC deployed in Lyari 

Government has deployed police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel at the exit and entry points of Lyari on Monday night.

Additional IG Karachi Akhtar Hussain Gorchani confirmed the deployment, however, he said nothing about conducting an operation in the area.

The Sindh Reserve police and Rapid Response Force have also been called in.

@Sameer: Is your police and judicial system capable of providing proofs? But why don't you ask proofs from all sides and every body before accusing. Those who you do not like, you simply pass judgments they are so and so and for those who are your favorites even if a confirmed criminal, you want proof. Shabash. Acha insaaf hai bhai. Kabhi tho insaaf se kaam lo.

@raza: Someone can be called a killer if there is proof against him/her. None of those thousands, whom you are calling killers, ever had a trial run against them. Instead their tortured and burnt bodies used to come home. I know well about district central Karachi.
