ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Fauzia Wahab termed the demand of a separate Seraiki province as ‘meeting the aspirations of the region’s masses’ on Saturday. “The PPP respects the sentiments of the people of South Punjab,” she said, while talking to a private news channel. “Administratively, South Punjab should be given the status of a province, so that problems of the people could be resolved in an efficient manner,” she added. Replying to a question, she remarked that President Asif Ali Zardari enjoyed complete immunity and no criminal proceedings could be initiated against him.
