Higher Education: Funds to be distributed based on NFC award

Shah said that $127 million was granted by the USAID for energy, water and agriculture sectors in Sindh.

KARACHI:

Higher Education Commission (HEC) chairman Dr Javed Laghari met Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister House on Saturday.

Shah said that $127 million was granted by the United States Agency for International Development for energy, water and agriculture sectors in Sindh. The World Bank has also provided funds worth $300 million, which will be allocated according to the formula specified in the NFC award.
