Convocation: FUMC graduates 101 students

Six gold medals, five silver medals, and 36 merit certificates were given to high-achieving students.

ISLAMABAD: The Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) awarded degrees to a total of 101 graduates during its convocation on Thursday. President of FUMC Islamabad campus, Lieutenant General Muhammad Mustafa Khan, who is also the managing director of Fauji Foundation, was the guest of honour at the ceremony. Apart from awarding degrees, six gold medals, five silver medals, five distinction certificates and 36 merit certificates were given to high-achieving students. Madeeha Abdul Ghaffar was nominated the best graduating student of the year. The campus president informed that construction of a new building to house the school of dentistry has begun and the department will be inaugurated in 2013.
