Murder: One gets death sentence, one life

FAISALABAD: Toba Tek Singh Additional Session Judge Chaudhary Ghulam Murtaza on Saturday sentencd Mohammad Akram to death and Haibat Khan to a life in prison after finding both guilty of murder. The prosecution said that Mohammad Akram and Haibat Khan supported by Mohammad Saeed anad Nausher had shot dead Theraj Khan on January 12, 2011 over a land dispute in Rajana. The court, however, acquitted Mohammad Saeed and Nausher.
