CID seals 3,950 hand grenades from arms factory in Karachi

KARACHI: Acting upon Sindh High Court’s orders, the Central Investigation Department (CID) sealed 3,950 hand grenades from a private arms factory in the Korangi area of Karachi on Saturday.

The case of the factory’s ownership has been pending with the Sindh High Court since the past 10 years.

Factory owner Mohammad Iqbal had expressed fear that the hand grenades being stolen from the factory might have been used in terrorist activities.

The court ordered the police to inspect the factory and make a list of weapons present there.

I would like to establish a nuclear arms factory in Karachi. Where should I submit my application? Nine Zero or Edgeware Road?
