Learning a language: Rs603m approved for introducing Mandarin

A total amount of Rs603 million was approved by Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to introduce Mandarin at public sector schools on Thursday.


This was decided at a meeting with the Sindh education department with Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq. Around 200 teachers will be taught Mandarin in Karachi and China. Initially, the language will be taught to students from grade VI to VIII and then continue to grade X.
