Chistian police are looking for two brothers, Abdullah Pervaiz and Javed, from Chak 15 near Chistian for the murder of Rubina, Pervaiz’s wife. His mother-in-law Anwar Bibi told The Express Tribune that Rubina had married Pervaiz three years ago.
She said Pervaiz had been unemployed and she had had to ask her family for support. She said that Rubina had gone missing on Monday. She said that police on Tuesday recovered a body from the canal which she had identified as her daughter. She said she believed Pervaiz and Javed had shot Rubina and thrown the body into the canal.
