Pakistan all out for 72

BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan were bowled out for a meager 72 runs in their first innings of the second test match being played at Birmingham on Friday.

This is Pakistan's lowest-ever test total against England.

Pakistan who decided to bat first, lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out in less than two sessions.

Umar Amin was the top scorer with 23 runs while Umar Akmal scored 17.

From the England bowlers, James Anderson and Stuart Broad picked up 4 wickets apiece while Stuart Finn picked up 2 wickets.

Pakistan dropped Danish Kaneria and Kamran Akmal for this test match and replaced them with Zulqarnain Haider and Saeed Ajmal.
