HARIPUR: A man was strangulated and his body was dumped at a deserted place in Sherawal village, the police said on Saturday. The Ghazi police said that villagers spotted the body of a man in his forties and shifted it to Ghazi Teshil Headquarter Hospital. According to doctors and the police, the victim, later identified as Mir Alam of Garhi Mera Ghazi, had been strangled with a rope after his hands and feet were tied up some 24 hours back. Alam’s family accused Zahid Haider of the same village, saying it was due to an old family feud.
