Abduction Case: Kenyan citizen, driver recovered

The police have also arrested four kidnappers.

SUKKUR: A Kenyan citizen and an NGO worker, along with his driver, was recovered after an encounter in the katcha area of Ranipur district, Khairpur early Thursday morning. The police have arrested four kidnappers. Talking to The Express Tribune, SSP Naushahro Feroze Jawed Jaskani said that police had successfully recovered two hostages including Kenyan citizen Tom and his driver Gada Hussain Kori, following a raid. According to him, the police have also arrested four kidnappers and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession. However, he declined to disclose the names of the kidnappers. According to him, Kenyan citizen Tom was abducted along with his driver Gada Hussain Kori while en route to Naushahro Feroze from Sukkur on January 22, 2012.
