Fire: Textile factory gutted

FAISALABAD: A textile factory owned by Chaudhry Aslam near the Hajiabad Stop in the Sargodha Road area caught fire on Thursday. Police said cloth worth hundreds of thousands of rupees was reduced to ashes in the fire. Rescue officials controlled the fire after three hours. They said the fire was caused by an electric short-circuit. Owner Aslam estimated his loss at more than a million rupees.
