Land dispute: Court extends stay on KPT society

KARACHI:


Justice Sajjad Ali Shah of the Sindh High Court extended an interim order that forbids construction in the Karachi Port Trust Cooperative Housing Society till April 19.


The judge was hearing a suit filed by the Board of Revenue, according to which the 130 acres claimed to be owned by KPT were the property of the Sindh government. The land is on Mai Kolachi Road. The next hearing is on April 19.
