BB Assassination Case: Important files stolen, recovered

LAHORE: Important files related to the Benazir Bhutto assassination case have been stolen by two law graduates working for the alleged killer’s defence lawyer, sources revealed to The Express Tribune. The documents were snatched from Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar while he was leaving his chambers in Islamabad.  Of the two files, one was a draft of the submission before the Supreme Court and the second was the draft of empowering anti-terrorism courts. According to an FIA prosecutor, both accused were detained and the files recovered – from the chamber of the defence lawyer of the former premier’s alleged killer Abdul Rashid Turabi.
