RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Jhelum and Tilla Ranges on Saturday to witness the training manoeuvres of Strike Corps with close air support by Pakistan Air Force components. The COAS emphasised the armed forces’ commitment against militancy, asserting that it should not affect its capabilities in conventional warfare. Earlier, General Kayani visited the Pakistan Army Rifle Association Ranges at Jhelum to witness the ongoing matches of the 19th National Shooting Championship as well.
