DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least two people were killed and one was wounded in two separate incidents in Bannu district and Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday, police said. An official of the Bannu City Police Station told The Express Tribune that Khalid Khan of Jani Khel tribe was driving to Bannu with Noor Zali when unidentified gunmen opened fire at them. The incident occurred near Ghalla Mandi, Muhalla Nawab in Bannu district. Khalid, he said, died on the spot.
