GENEVA: European football’s governing body Uefa fined FC Porto €20,000 for its supporters’ ‘racist conduct’ against Manchester City in a Europa Cup tie last month. Manchester City had complained that Mario Balotelli and Yaya Toure were the target of racist chants during the English side’s 2-1 victory over the defending champions at Estadio do Dragao. However, the UEFA decision can be appealed within three days if Porto wish to follow that path.
