Targeted attacks: Five men, one woman gunned down

KARACHI: A man identified as 22-year-old Shakirullah was gunned down near Al-Asif Square on Sunday night, said the Sohrab Goth police. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Dr Sheraz, the medico-legal officer, said that Shakirullah was shot multiple times. Nazar and Naeem were shot dead in Essa Nagri, said the Aziz Bhatti police. Some reports claimed that Nazar was the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s sector committee member but DSP Pervez Iqbal Bhatti denied it. He said that none of the men had any political affiliation. In Gulshan-e-Hadeed, 25-year-old Murtaza was shot dead, said the Bin Qasim police. An unidentified woman and man were also gunned down in Saddar and Nazimabad.
