Watan cards: Rs12.55 billion distributed

LAHORE: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority Mujahid Sherdil said that due to good governance and the chief minister’s effective strategy Watan Cards worth Rs40,000 had been issued to 313,828 people affected by the flood. He said the distribution had been completed under a transparent system and Rs12.55 billion had been given to flood affected in two phases. He said that Watan Card Centres were functioning efficiently.
