PESHAWAR: A Frontier Corps official was killed and two children were injured when a bomb fixed in a radio set exploded at the Wana Scouts Camp in sub-division Wana of South Waziristan Agency, officials said on Friday.

The explosion took place at the house of a security official, killing one person and injuring two children. "The possible cause of the explosion was the radio set in which the bomb was kept," a local security official told The Express Tribune.

The man killed was identified as a Frontier Corps operative and the two children injured, his sons. “They were seriously injured and shifted to Peshawar" he added.

Increasing improvised explosive device (IED) attacks are a troubling sign for security officials in the tribal and settled areas.

Earlier, officials had told a group of journalists that the operation “Zulfiqar-Two” began a few days back and already two major IED factories had been destroyed in Ladha, a sub division of South Waziristan Agency.

@qandeel, Why dont you stop watching Indian bollywood films and hearing Indian music altogether ever again if you are so against Saif and SRK and other Indian muslim starred Bollywood films.

Movies funded by the indian government and their intelligence are rightly banned in Pakistan, this action by our government couldn't be any just! Remarks by Saif only show how the news of this ban has hit him hard! ..... sorry buddy, better luck in reviving your career next time :) Not only has he lost a 'little' revenue but even a huge fan following..
