Protest: Students boycott classes against VP’s transfer

ABBOTABAD:

The students of Paramedical School of Ayub Medical College Abbottabad continued their boycott of classes for the second consecutive day to protest against their vice principal’s transfer.

The protesting students threatened to continue their strike unless the decision was reversed.

The provincial health department had recently transferred Vice Principal Dr Rahila Rauf of the Paramedical School, a subsidiary of Ayub Medical College, to Peshawar. The students, unhappy with the decision, went on strike.

The paramedics association of Ayub Medical Complex also joined hands with the students and threatened to protest by boycotting their duties if the transfer orders were not revoked.
