Pre-meditated murder: Kidnapped man found dead

KARACHI: The body of a young man identified as Naushad alias Appu was found near Crown Cinema, Mauripur on Saturday, said the Kalri police. He was a nephew of the former security in-charge at Bilawal House, Akram Baloch. Reports claim that Appu used to live in Salar Compound, Napier, and went missing on Thursday. The body was taken to Civil Hospital. SHO Safdar Mashwani said that Appu was kidnapped and tortured by unidentified suspects. The police believe that the Baba Ladla group might be behind the murder. The SHO said that they had registered a case and an investigation was under way.
