Accident: Motorcyclist killed, another injured

Police sources said that Shahid Hussain and his friend were waiting at a signal when a speeding truck hit them.

ISLAMABAD:

A motorcyclist was killed and the person sitting behind him was injured in a road accident on Golra Road near Sabzi Mandi on Thursday.

Police sources said that Shahid Hussain and his friend were waiting at a signal when a speeding truck (C-5152) hit them.

As a result, Hussain died on the spot and his friend was taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) in critical condition.  The police have taken the driver into custody and registered a case against him.
