SARGODHA: Former Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Aslam Madhyana, involved in an alleged assault on a 60-year-old schoolteacher, was sent on a two-day physical remand on Thursday by an anti-terrorism court in Sargodha.
The Sargodha police had requested the court to send him on a three-day physical remand, however, the court only approved a two-day remand.
Madhyana’s counsel prayed to the court to not send him on a physical remand due to his declining health conditions.
The counsel of teacher Nafees Ahmad Khan informed the court that the police had not completed its investigation and that Madhyana needed to be handed over to police until the investigation is concluded.
Madhyana’s supporters grouped outside the court and chanted slogans demanding his release. The protestors also raised slogans, shouting that “injustice” was being done to Madhyana.
On Wednesday, Madhyana was sent on a one-day physical remand.

This was not done out of sight of other people and not by himself. What about the people who ACTUALLY hurt the teacher and all those who were present when the crime occured?
@zehra: they are paid followers rather than blind followers. those who chanted in Madhyana's favor will get their reward once we send Madhyana back into parliament.

Best example of how media use selective facts to distort the picture, Mr. Lodhi the victim, is not a teacher but runs a private institution. He was assaulted by the supporters of Mr. Madhayana and those are already under arrest by Sargodha Police. Its sheer violation of due process of law....something really wrong with this place as the courts are being run by media.
I dont believe he did it, although he looks khatarnak. Victim seems to be projection lover and he used bad language against this culprit, at firs tinstance.
I hope justice prevails and the victim does not "forgive" the culprit....
And he represents a party which claims to be the representative of the Poor, the Laborers, and the Have Nots. Thank you PPP for the commendable services that you have rendered for democracy and the poor people of our country.
this is the height of blind following!! sad no protest for the victim rather a pity approach for the one causing it. i hope he gets punished
