Roadside Bombing: Six killed, two injured in Bajaur

KHAR: Six people were killed and two injured when a roadside bomb exploded in Mamond sub-division of Bajaur Agency, confirmed officials. The explosion took place in a market in the village of Gutkay, a senior official of the Political Administration, Faramosh told The Express Tribune. “The improvised explosive device went off when a pick-up van arrived in the main market,” he said while confirming the deaths and injuries. Sources say that the bomb was placed in front of the house of tribal elder Malik Hashim. Those killed in the bombing have been identified as Said Umar, Munir, Najeebullah, Faizullah, Saeed Rahman and Sher Agha. The injured have been identified as Sher Khan and Abdullah. They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Khar. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
