"The crimes committed by US, British and NATO forces that we have witnessed in the past few days in Afghanistan against innocent women and children and in Pakistan only blacken further the image of these countries for the population of the region," foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told reporters.
His comment followed the murderous rampage in Afghanistan on Sunday of a rogue US soldier who broke into three village houses and killed 16 people, mainly women and children.
The act has inflamed hostility against US and NATO forces in Afghanistan.
Mehmanparast said the United States and its allies "must withdraw their troops from the countries of the region as soon as possible, in order not to further boost the hate of the region's people against them."

@Shaikh Mohommad dude all Syed Geelani was saying is that Iran DOESN'T COMMENT about the killings of Shias in Pakistan. He is not holding them responsible for anything. learn how to read a statement first before you go with you're conspiracy theories
@Syed Geelani: Really, Iran is responsible. Are you sure the crime is not committed by US agents stationed and operating in Pakistan. Remember the policy of USA to divide and rule. Shias and Sunnis are brothers and Pakistan is allowing USA to sow seeds of divisiion,. Drone attacks continue in Pakistan. Drone came in Iranian air space and it was shot down. What does it says about Pakistani security forces.
That strong position was supposed to be of Pakistan
Iran, don't show your crocodile tears. You are not commenting on the daily killings of Shias in Pakistan.
