The UAE ambassador said that his government will continue to support the people of Kashmir.
MIRPUR (AJK):
AJK Prime Minister Chaudry Abdul Majeed has expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its unrelenting support to the people of Kashmir during recent natural disasters. He said without this support “we wouldn’t have been able to complete the reconstruction phase”, especially after the deadly earthquake of 2005. He also thanked the UAE government for their active support in the social sector of AJK. He was talking to the ambassador of the UAE, Essa Abdullah al Basha Noaimi, who called on him at the Kashmir House on Friday. The prime minister urged the international community and Islamic countries to exert pressure on India to put an end to the atrocities and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. The UAE ambassador said that his government will continue to support the people of Kashmir in their quest for the right to self-determination.
