Building collapse: At least two labourers dead

Labourers died under the rubble of a three-storey building that collapsed in Vegetable Market

MULTAN: At least two labourers died from injuries they suffered under the rubble of a three-storey building that collapsed in Vegetable Market on Tuesday. Two others were rescued from the accident site and taken to a hospital. Rescue work to save other workers was underway at the time of filing of this report. Rescue 1122 officials said about six to eight men were still caught under the debris. They said the building was outdated and unfit for use. They said it was being used as a warehouse by some businesses in the market to store vegetables.
