Industrial area: Woman, daughter injured in accident

A bus hit his sister and niece while crossing a road, injuring them seriously, says a man.

ISLAMABAD: A woman and her daughter were injured in a road accident in Sector I-9/4 on Saturday. Sajjad Ahmed lodged a complaint with the Industrial Area police that a bus (JT-7767) hit his sister and niece while crossing a road, injuring them seriously. The bus driver, Tariq Abbasi, has been taken into custody, the police added. In another incident, Eric Masih lodged an FIR with the police, nominating Arif Masih of issuing a bogus cheque for Rs200,000 to him. The police have booked the suspect.
