MUZAFFARGARH: Those who are trying to remove the government from power should know that millions of people are in our support, claimed Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Sunday.

At the inauguration ceremony of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Model Village in Muzaffargarh, the prime minister speaking in Sindhi said that the government did not come into power on anyone’s advice neither will it go on any.

Our workers are strong and I am the prime minister of these workers, he added.

Reiterating his government’s support for a Seraiki province, Gilani said that the people of Southern Punjab feel deprived and want a separate Seraiki province so they can stand on their own feet.

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan and Textile Industry Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin also addressed the gathering.

Oh Mr Gilani, I can never seem to read your comments with a straight face. Lets say 3-4 million people do "support" you. Well the rest of the population, of 14 million people, don't.

Just thought I'd let you know, since you don't seem much in the loop of the ongoings in your country.
