Zong has said that it enormously widened its subscriber base during 2011 and contributed to the growth of the industry as more than 50% of net additions to the subscriber base during the year belonged to Zong. During 2011, Zong was able to add 10 million users to its subscriber base.
In a press release, Zong says it has decided to share its success with stakeholders through a scheme named Wheel for all 2011. As part of this scheme, the company is awarding 150 franchises with Suzuki cars for achieving sales targets. “This growth is largely attributed to the sales team of the company who has been working closely with 273 franchises. Out of these, 150 were able to achieve their sales target,”
it says.
