Chinese National’s Murder: China wants thorough probe

The embassy has urgently dispatched consular officers to Peshawar to assist the local police in its investigation.

The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad strongly condemned the killing of a Chinese national in Peshawar on February 28. In a press release issued on Wednesday, the embassy requested Pakistani authorities to conduct a thorough and immediate investigation. Pakistani authorities were also requested to take effective steps to ensure the security of the Chinese nationals in the country. The embassy has urgently dispatched consular officers to Peshawar to assist the local police in its investigation.
