LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed has fixed March 6 for hearing petition against the government over its alleged failure to control dengue. The petitioner, who submitted that the government had failed to take precautionary measure against dengue, said the situation seemed to be taking the same turn as last year when the fever had caused many deaths. He said that more than 50 people had been diagnosed with dengue so far, but the government had yet to act. He requested the court to direct the government to inform the court about steps taken in this regard.
