Sharif urges govt to focus on relief

MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has said that the government should focus its attention on flood victims instead of planning for by-elections in the country.

Talking to journalists during his visit of flood-hit areas of Azad Kashmir on Tuesday, he said people were facing challenges one after another. “In these circumstances when millions of people in the country were affected by floods, the government should focus its attention on flood victims instead of taking interest in by-elections,” he criticised.

Responding to a question, he said that the British
prime minister should seek an apology over his irresponsible statement against Pakistan during his India visit.
