LAHORE:

A four-storey library tower was inaugurated at the Beaconhouse-Newlands campus in DHA’s Phase-VI, on Sunday.

The Learning Tower was inaugurated by Beaconhouse School System Chairperson Mrs Nasreen Mahmud Kasuri.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Kasuri said, “The Tower embodies our innovative vision, where students are intentional learners rather than consumers, where librarians are educators rather than suppliers, and where print and digital mediums co-exist”.

Principal Phil Straw said the structure was dedicated to promoting book reading, research and video conferencing among students.

The Learning Tower has more than 15,000 books.
