Robbery: Cash, valuables stolen

HARIPUR: Five armed men deprived a family of cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in the outskirts of Mansehra on Saturday night. Waqas Ahmed, a resident of Bajna Bafa village, told the police that five armed men barged into his house at around 9pm and held his family at gunpoint. He said they started beating him and some of the women when they tried to put up resistance and took away cash, jewellery, mobile phones and electronics at gunpoint. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
