Addressing a party rally on Saturday, Khan said: “I have good news for you, the days of the landlords – who impose their tyranny on you, who make humans their slaves – are nearing the end.”
This cruel system, where the poor man is sent to jail, while the one who loots the country becomes the president, will be put to an end by the PTI, the party chairman claimed. “We will hand over the power to you, no powerful person will oppress you.”
Khan also repeatedly slammed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) for being “brothers” in corruption. “They are not parties, they are a mafia… Their job is to come into power and loot money,” he said.
He further added said that both the parties apparently remain enemies of each other, while in reality they are together as they are afraid of PTI’s tsunami.

We hate change, we will continue to welcome the same old rulers who have time and again made promises and failed to deliver. We will continue to bring the same people to power who have looted the country bare and carry on doing so, while turning a blind eye to the suffering of their fellow country men. But all is not lost, for the first time I am witnessing an awakening of the people thanks to the media and the internet. I hope and pray that we will come to our senses eventually and do the right thing.

I'm an Indian, went for a project in Saudi for couple of months. I had met with a lot of Pakistani cab drivers and I had requested all of them ask their family members to vote for Imran Khan! :)
IK may have a dream but so far he has not been able to build enough confidence in the people across the board. To project him as anyone is better than sharifs clans and Zardari's tola's: is in my opinion not a very respectable positioning! He should hire better strategists and image consultants. (he should get rid of shah Mahmoud and javed Hashmi ......lol.... They themselves need big time image makeovers.)

Imran Khan is hob nobbing with the rich for funds and maybe he will bring a real change in the country. He will only be able to deliver if he rids the country of the feudals, tax dodgers, loan defaulters, honor killers, wani and karo kari elements and the encroachers. Nevertheless, give him time to apply his policies. Because the rich will not give, up so easily and will continue to apply the law on the poor.

If 30 people came in his party who have been in power before then what. That is not a big deal as his party will also give 100s of tickets to young people as they need minimum 1000 cadidates and only Maximum 50 of them will be old politicians only. So no need to worry. Imran Khans knows how to make good team of people who will lead this country and make it best economically.

the real issue in Pakistan at this time is not corruption or the landlords. it is the army, the agencies, and their Saudi handlers. The policies of the army have led to Pakistan being in a constant state of enmity with its neighbours with the resulting impact on its economy. Please Mr. Khan say something about this.

Correction to be issued by PTI later: The people of Umerkot should not expect the Leader of Leaders, Imrann Khant to get rid of land-lords one the first day once PTI/IK is elected.
Please allow 90 days for this promise to be fullfilled.

P.S. It is very easy to criticise somebody but this guy here dreamt for doing something for his country and if he still wants to change then give him a chance....Because of his vision and his belief he won us the World Cup in 1992 not because of the establishment, he built a cancer hospital and he also built a university to help students though education over there is expensive. At least he is trying to do something rather than sitting in the Raiwand palace or the presidency. At least he is not scared and he doesn't put a glass on while he is addressing to the public.

Indians again are commenting on Pakistan related issues like as if it is their country. I request a few things from these Indians. Either accept that we are as important to you as we claim to be and comment on us. Otherwise, do not say that India is so greater than Pakistan that it is least bothered by what is happening to them. Imran Khan is our internal issue at the moment therefore, I do not understand why a person called Mandeep or anyone from India would make such comments against our internal issues. I would not tolerate anyone commenting from outside even on Zardari because it is our internal matter.

Late or not-we HAVE to support this man. At least his promises are restricted to one subject ONLY of Upholding Justice & fairness. This is contrast to hunderds of promises made by the other parties over the last 60 years and NEVER delivered. We will support him to the end and hopefully others will follow. To understand him and his ambition you will need to have a soul!
How would he do it? Explain it for us, the ordinary mortals; let us see a roadmap to the promisedland. I will vote for PTI solely because of its honest leader (IK) that’s the best option under the given circumstances. Yet at the same time I fear the Khan has run out of rhetoric because he’s begun shooting himself in the foot increasingly giving in to the temptation of promising more than he can deliver. Why is he specifically keen on the removing landlords of Umerkot when the country is infested with greedy landlords? Is it something to do with the religious composition of the region? How will he account for the stalwarts teaming up with him? They aren’t exactly landless peasants-are they- if one recalls the scions of the numerous landholding families joining his bandwagon. IK’s bombastic outbursts are a rerun of history. Recall Bhutto’s promises to the unsuspecting masses they were more long winded but where did they land us. Pakistan was on the verge of the ‘take off’ stage (Rostow) and viewed as a role model developing country yet it mutely witnessed the gradual ruin of its industrial and educational sector and saw the confidence of its entrepreneurs take a shattering blow against a backdrop of watered land reforms that lacked substance. IK should realise that loose words are ideal fodder for cut throat political opponents and they have the irresistible tendency to haunt their reciter at the most inopportune occasions.
