ISLAMABAD: Six men, dressed up as security officials and reportedly belong to the Canadian and Australian embassies, were held by the police on Friday and charged with espionage. Police said the men, three from each embassy, talked to people in the missing persons’ and the NADRA protest camp and communicated with someone over walkie-talkies. When they repeated the process “three to four” times, police officials deployed there became suspicious and confronted them. “We are interrogating the suspects and will know something by tomorrow,” a police official told The Express Tribune. Spokespersons of both the embassies were not immediately available for a comment.
